Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AFrom the outside the hotel is a right and klobiger Mercure friedrichsdorf stone, high concrete building. Inside the hotel much sympathetic to me. Unfortunately, there is only limited (but free) parking available, so that one had to avoid the street, or (having regard to the recommendation of the front desk) in the adjacent parking lot of a supermarket. To the train station (also the S-Bahn direction Frankfurt), it was about a ten minutes walk.
Next to a sauna and (I believe to be very small and not very attractive) pool there were also two bowling alleys. There was a restaurant and a beer available. Both is apparently only to the guests. The beer is extremely small. On the question of a guest in the bar after a cigarillo there was the answer, that this certainly could buy the gas station across the street (though this was closed at this time-optically from the bar visible-).
The meeting rooms in the hotel are in my opinion okay.
The rooms for me a pleasant appearance. There are, in addition to the standard amenities (telephone, mini bar, radio, television), a sitting area with chairs each. On the floor carpet. Unfortunately, this works on the edge rather dusty. In the soft beds in my opinion very small pillows. In the room there is a clothes press machine.
The bathrooms are well equipped and there was soap and shampoo. A hair dryer was available. The rods for the towels are so assembled, that this sitting on the toilet disturb. The entrance to the showers in the tub was very high; that sink is very low.
The restaurant was not really. For the dinner warm a view, neither the price very cheap, the food particularly good or plentiful. We were in a larger group in the context of a conference in the hotel. The lunch (in buffet form) were too few places at the table set. The supply of drinks (there was water on the table and apple juice) I found to be inadequate. It was only very rarely, and only ask to duplication, new water.
In the evening it was after the meal in the restaurant was hardly possible to drink (beer or wine) to get. It appears that the staff didn't or didn't want, even though they were paid separately, of course. Most of the servers in the restaurant were friendly impression on me.
During the meeting was the provision within the meeting area not great (perhaps this was the agreed contract/daily).
Hotel is in my opinion completely Okay, but nothing special.
