Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AMy wife and I as well as a friendly couple had a very nice AdventWeekend in the city of Erfurt. We have stayed at this super convenient Mercure-hotel. The old town (anger, a few square, from, fish market) is really easy to reach and right across the city to the Duomo square with the large Christmas market went quite quickly from the hotel. The old town offers plenty of opportunities to enjoy the Thuringian cuisine. And at very reasonable prices. We had a quiet room to the inner courtyard. But I think the street is not very noisy, as there is no main thoroughfare street. The mattresses on the beds in our room didn't convinced and it seemed a bit worn. The breakfast was very good. Both tasted as well as selection of the food. There was also the possibility yourself a fish orange juice there were. Nothing to complain about. We were lucky, that we got a hotel-car park, since we already arrived at the Friday, lunch. The Saturday was both the inner courtyard as well as the underground car park and parking spaces in the hotel we didn't have to reserve. The result is a phone call shortly before our trip. Nearby of the hotel but there is a public parking garage (note from the hotel). All in all, we recommend this hotel for a weekend stay in Erfurt bendenkenlos.
