Nice clean hotel with no atmosphere *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel is very nice and clean, however, the hotel has the charm of a health clinic in former times. I have never visited a 4 star hotel with no hotel bar. Here to rely on the casino which is right next door and it is, but first is not for everyone in a casino and secondly, the casino no dress code, so there as a game room a atmosphere. The welcome to the hotel was a bit unfriendly and the reception is for a Viersternehaus also very small and only occupied by one person. The reception closes at 10pm till the next morning. Breakfast was ok. Everything was available, if only in small quantities. But it was always refilled so that there was something available. The best in Bad Harzburg was the free Nordic walking beginner lesson at the Firma outdoor sports in the Goslarschen street 17 by the holder. Very competent and very friendly, followed by excellent on-going advice about sticks and other accessories. Another time thank you.
