Pleasant hotel on the river Chao Praya *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe have spent 2 nights in Bangkok. The hotel was very pleasant and had a good location. The breakfast buffet is more than enough and particularly worthy of mentioning the large and very good selection of bread (you can tell, that a Swiss bakery chef is in charge here). The buffet dinner and the steak house is also highly recommendable. But in Bangkok you probably might want to eat out and try some of the local places to eat.
Here I could give a good address: Restaurant Blue Elephant.
The only disappointment was the pool. The room was getting a bit old and the quality of the water was not great. But the beach chairs, 20 centimeters in the water, gave you a great view of the river Chao Praya and the city.
