Fantastic, Five stars!
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AMy girlfriend and I visited the Continental Resort Hurghada for my 25th birthday during the 1st week of May 2011. We had never been to Egypt before and chose the Continental Resort Hotel because it provided everything we wanted in a Holiday at a reasonable cost. We were sceptical disembarking the plane but as soon as I walked into the Hotel and was greeted by reception staff and shown to my room we immediately knew we had made the right choice. My room was large, very clean and we had an amazing view of the hotel grounds, beach and red sea from our balcony. I used all facilities in the room which worked without fault, air conditioning, satellite TV, mini bar, 24hr room service and laundry. I was even supplied with a travel adapter to recharge my camera compliments of the Hotel.
The hotel has three different and exceptionally delicious restaurants and town is a short taxi ride that can be organised at reception. Despite activities organised by my travel agent I was able to organise water skiing, wind surfing, canoeing, hire a speed boat to go snorkelling, ride a horse and a camel all at the hotel. My girlfriend particularly enjoyed her spa day and massage. I had a free cake on my birthday too! I would definitely visit the Continental Resort Hurghada again and I would like to thank Ahmed, Olga and the entire bar and waiting staff whom couldn’t do enough for us during our stay. What a fantastic holiday resort, definitely five stars from me.
