Mövenpick Resort Hurghada

I was worried after reading some reviews on here, but have to say this hotel is beautiful. The rooms are very large, yes the bathrooms could do with a little up dating but they are furnished well with fab views from the balcony. The room was spotlessly clean with bath robes for your comfort.
The staff were just amazing and couldn't fault the service. We did have one night in the restaurant where we were not keen on the food and as soon as the restaurant manager realised he asked us what we would like to eat and got us what we wanted cooked all included in the All Inclusive.
The All inclusive is good but you can only have spirits at one bar which is the Captains bar, but not a problem. You don't have wrist bands like normal AI and you do have to sign for everything that you get but I think it is just to keep track of the stock but it is a bit annoying.
The AI buffet is lovely food but I will say it is limited choice and snacks have to be paid for which is not the norm for AI.
The private beach is beautiful and sun loungers are plentiful so you dont have to worry about getting one in a morning.
I was not very well on one day and the staff could not do enough for me. Which was great. I go abroad a lot and think this hotel was lovely. I would only class it as a 4 star but the staff make your holiday very enjoyable. I would not bring my children here as little to do for them, but fab for couples and would come back. Be warned though you do get hassled on the main street, but the hotel has very good security.
