Mövenpick Resort & Spa El Gouna

Hotel is set in El gouna which is a beautiful big resort, You are able to purchased a shuttle bus ticket for the week which costs around £2 english pounds. The shutle runs very frequently from around 10am until 1am. There are shops in the downtown el gouna and also at the marina. Please note that you will need to barter. Recommended excursions Mahmya beach- if you are looking for paradise then this is the excursion to go for. A day spent on an island which is a 45 minute boat ride from one of the ports in Hurghada. Another excursion that I would recommend is the safari land excursion 45 minutes on quadbikes before taking a jeep through the desert to the earthsun mounains and meeting the bedwin people that live in the desert before star gazing. food included.

Excellent service, everyone at the hotel is very polite and welcoming catering to all of your needs.

The food was also great with a very wide range in the buffet catering to everyone’s needs.

I was most impressed with ‘Sam from Sudan’ who was part of the animation team. Sam made our holiday very special he was one of the most talented and positive people I have ever met. He was wonderful at motivating everyone to join in his classes such as aqua aerobics, Yoga and even belly dancing. The thing that blew me and my mother away was his dancing, we saw a couple of the shows the first we saw was the show of different musicals, Sam was dancing like Michael Jackson which was incredible we also saw the Irish dancing. Thank you Sam for making out holiday so special. He even made the extra effort of coming up to the reception when we left to say goodbye he really is an asset to the hotel.

The cleaner was fantastic every day arranging my clothes in to shapes of flowers it really was special. All staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly always greeting us with a smile wherever we went. The bathroom was very spacios. They filled our tea and coffee up everyday.
