Super comfortable hotel on the edge of the fog forest *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe rustic lodge is in our view a hot tip for travelers, the not in the noisy center, but at the edge of Santa Elena want to stay. The family-run Hotel radiates a homely atmosphere from, the helpful owners still underlined. We had a simply equipped, but spacious and nice rooms in the rear part of the area (somewhat higher and accessible over stairs) with a small terrace and fell in love with it we felt comfortable all around. The bathroom was clean and attractive. 62 dollars per night for a very good choice.
A focal point for all trunks are manufactured chairs in the room, as well as in the breakfast room, even if they are not really comfortable. Speaking of breakfast: this is very good, especially the homemade jam from tropical fruits, you can buy in the hotel, the freshly baked pancakes and. A tip: the hotel is especially recommendable for travellers, which have a rental car. Within walking distance is the village is a bit of a walk, and in the evening the main road also very dark. By car it is only two or three minutes.
