Ideal for city breaks, gladly again! *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel has 17 floors with about 80 - 100 rooms. The hotel itself is in good condition and clean. The rooms are spacious (for NYC) and also clean. cleaned daily: fresh towels (in large quantities) and the bed was always made with fresh sheets. included in the price was a "continental breakfast", consisting of toast, bagels, cereal, cream cheese, butter, jam, coffee, tea, and fruit. Typically American, so don't expect nothing special, but it is perfect, not to start the day with an empty stomach. The average age of the guests was between 30 to 50 years. The guests were very international.
Location
Right at Macy's around the Eckke in the "Korean district". To Time Square it is about 10 minutes walk and the Empire State Building was right outside our window.
I can't say much to say that much about it, the staff only to the check-in/check-out consumed. But They all had a friendly impression and always seemed very "occupied".
Gastronomy
There is a small bar, but really only recommends, if you don't want to leave (VERY expensive!! ) Breakfast was ok. Like I said: Perfect location with stomach Hungry guests can chose to leave the hotel.
Sport & Entertainment
Fitness room was available: about 5 treadmills, 2 stepper, 2 bikes ... Some devices (strength-training machines were broken).
Room
Size was sufficient, desk, closet, and chest of drawers were available. Bathroom was also big enough. Hair dryer was available in the room. Tea- and Coffemaker were available. Also a iPod area available - we didn't make use of them, but maybe this is for someone interesting.
Tips and recommendations
Please note: You should definitely be careful that you get a room on the upper floors: (a) beautiful views of the Empire State Building, (b) is the street in front of the hotel quite a busy and very noisy at night (restaurants and bars mostly open 24 hrs in the street). On arrival you AAA card and AAA: this is again tidy discount. The entire hotel has wifi. So you can internet.
