Good hotel for short stay at Ayers Rock *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe had booked this hotel, for a way, while we travelled through the outback.
The room was very basic and rather dark. There were only two blades window next to the door, so no natural light in the room.
The room itself was a double bed, a single bed, a desk, a fridge and a tv, just three programs were started. Does not matter, you are in the desert.
The bedding had the best days and were not cleaned. When the floor last time they mopped, is not known. It was very dirty!
There was a separate toilet and a shower room in the room.
So everything was available, which one needed.
The hotel is a sprawling complex with several bungalows. There is a restaurant, a public kitchen and a grill restaurant, in the evening as well as live music is played. The BBQ restaurant can also for not buy grilled meat and salads. In addition there is the bar, the beer is much more expensive than in the supermarket.
In front of the hotel parking lot is a gift shop, here you sometimes get bargains.
The supermarket nearby and you can here were very good and cheap shopping. So, here they QUOTE and in the hotel's grill-station to boil, if you want to save some money.
You can exchange money also good at the front desk, you save itself to the way in the 'shopping center'.
'Shopping center' in there is a post office and the excursion office. We definitely recommend, already in Germany a hire car. This is much cheaper than a getawy package to how you are independent. The offered excursions were partly very expensive.
If you can do without the comfort, this hotel well served. We booked this hotel, since it was the cheapest deal and we spent most of the time anyway on the way were.
So we can also recommend this hotel.
