Relaxing surfing vacation *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A ASince the first of November 2011, the former Interconti hotel is now called Palm Royale Soma Bay Resort. The hotel is the ideal place for a relaxing bath or surf vacation. The complex is well maintained and clean. It is maybe not five stars, but we anyway didn't expect this at this low price. Not everything is brand new, but I cannot accept the previous negative comments about the condition of the hotel. The food was okay; small variation, but tasty. Especially the varied fresh and delicious salads convinced us at the evening buffet. Those who want to avoid the local cuisine: there are also international dishes (for example pasta). We enjoyed in particular the peace and quiet. Hustle and action were sought in vain. The guest structure was mixed, from young to old, about half were Germans and eastern Europeans. All in all we had a very happy two weeks.
