Palmse Mois

The hotel is situated on the Gutshofgrundstück from Palmse on a small lake with Park, forest paths for walking and a large information center of the Lahemaa National Park. Many excursion possibilities are nearby. There were shopping possibilities not, however, you can also buy bottled drinks at the hotel to greet you with the trips.

The hotel staff were friendly, one lady even spoke fluent German. Overall it was a bit staff, so that one could sometimes had to wait a bit if you ask the front desk or get wanted to buy something. Check-in and check-out was very quick. For our bikes was prompt. The breakfast we could choose freely. Maid service was good.

Dinner was delicious. There are different a la carte dishes and no matter if soup, quiche or meat dishes (schnitzel, pork medallions…)- all were of very good quality and tasted very good. Reasonably priced that was also alright. The restaurant, which also breakfast room is furnished in a country style; very quaint. Breakfast was relatively simple. There was only white bread, the usual in Estonia cheese and cold meat, fish and 1 type of jam/cereal, juice and yogurt too, of course. There was boiled eggs, but nothing else hot.

Our room was under the roof and very large with a view of the back of the Manor House with adjoining buildings. It had a hallway, from the the bathroom talk about and the main room. Everything furnished in country style. So they seemed quite basic (all light pine of the furnishings). The room and bathroom were very clean. Fresh towels every day. There is no hairdryer, minibar, safe, telephone, German TV or air conditioning. But shoe cleaning kit, which really dusty because in the park was ready.
