Recommendable hotel for a reasonable price *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A ABiedenkopf has a unique location in the idyllic, heavily wooded Lahn at this point. The hotel is in a large building from concrete building, as the sixties/seventies you for years in many municipalities and municipal halls, Community or village houses. Plus an indoor pool and a number of meeting rooms, good for meetings and seminars can be used. The location of the hotel is excellent, because it's on a trumped-hill, from which one to several sides a great view over the city, the castle and the forested mountains. The staff, from the front desk to the restaurant, was friendly and helpful. We had a double room on the main level (at the same level as the reception and restaurants), the arose from the area was quite sufficient, without a sense of close, and the furniture was equipped with solid. The available on two occasions to sit, so that you can't go wrong with tv (as often in hotels) had to sit on the bed. The beds were absolutely fine and from a height, as older people therein. Only the carpet seemed much old and deserved a exchange. A positive impression on us especially the bathroom, it is obvious that only a few years ago had been replaced. Everything was clean and neat, even the usual suspects are no dirt or dust. Compliments to the cleaning staff. The breakfast in the restaurant was good, but no whistle. In some ways, the view compensated by the table in the valley.
All in all, a highly recommended hotel at a reasonable price.
