Location of the hotel, you had to look for different angle: first view/location for downtown: see photo to the city center by tram or on foot (15 minutes) Eisenach: over the valley (with Opel station) on wooded heights (in the background the Wartburg) to the city center: several kilometers (only reachable by car) my rating: 1:0 for Gera restaurant: (see photo) hotels normal and comfortable; Eisenach: lobby and restaurant within the reception (cold as the Milchbars the 50's- Kunststoffstuhle (neon. Color) the floor planks with sailing boards as: rating: 2:0 for GERA. Food: GERA.: when ordering of the IQ menus: as it should be: medium or? It was served. On the point fried potatoes and the great. Eisenach: the IQ-menu includes in the buffet. It was also: the potatoes and the steak soft and mushy cook (was on a heat plate under mountains of onions and so on) but you could fall back on the other meals, but also typical buffet quality had. Rating: for 3:0 GERA. Rooms: Gera (307) was large and clean as was the bathroom. Eisenach: small but clean (the difference is the size of the bathrooms: Gera twice as large as in Eisenach) rating: 4:1 for hotels in future we will stay further east-Safari in Gera, since you can use the public transport for free.
