Picadilly Backpackers Hostel

The location could not be better. Piccadilly Circus, Underground, bus, souvenir shops, restaurants, bars, ATM etc. are in 1 minute walking distance. The bus takes several musicals and shopping streets can be easily reached. From London City to the hostel you need with subway about 35 minutes. From London Heathrow Airport about 1 hour. From Piccadilly Circus is great to travel in the whole city. The appropriate sightseeing buses (double-decker) as well. The station is about a 2 minute walk from the hostel.

Staff said hello, but not more. The toilets are (I think) only once a day. It was all very dirty.

You have hostel food can, but since everything was quite dirty, we skipped it and ate out.

Each night it became from 22.00h a backpacker party k before the hostel.

As my colleague and I was not with 6 random people staying in one room, so we booked a double room. The size of the room was ok. Price: Very convenient amenities: bed, waste bucket and a closet, more there was in our room. No hangers, no mirror, no chair, nothing else ... The rooms were (I hope) only cleaned prior to our arrival. During the stay weren't cleaned. The garbage-kuebel you had to front of the door if you wanted to be emptied. Therefore the hallways were full of trash ... There wasn't a mattress cover, sheet had to be hired. There were two wool blankets and two pillows, but I don't think I'd from both on my skin. The throw pillows were stained and blankets had still hair from previous visitors.

I personally wouldn't return to this backpacker again. The price is were ok but I would recommend for a little more money to spend a better, much more comfortable room. The weather was "very British". It rained, it has at least one night, it was like from with rain beaker. By one of four days, the sun was shining. You should always an umbrella.
