Great design, bad location and check-in *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AAs already noted from other reviews, the hotel is the design was for me the greatest what I have ever seen. From the outside is the view breathtaking, if you are lucky enough in an upper floor, in a room with a view of the skyline Frankfuter to stay still more worthwhile. Super design also on the ground floor, especially in the dining area. I found the reception not convincing, which looked like a post office counter. The front desk was very disappointing: welcome-drink we offered will not come about spontaneously, although booked and if you dare to ask, you will know stupid and, behind the rude receptionist that a few bottles of different drinks in a container is possible, then probably be the served (we passed! but then). We had hoped (as in other hotels) on a voucher for the bar, but that apparently there was not. Overall we found the check-in procedure was very rude. Otherwise, everything else was very good, from the room to the breakfast, with friendly service. Everything was very clean, professional and well furnished. One feels himself very well. Another downside is the location: with the tram 17 (2 minutes from the hotel) you get into twelve minutes to the main station, but it could happen, particularly in the evening also times that you have to wait 15-25 minutes and then this slow drive to the city center... As far as the Frankfurt-visit I would tour of the city by the city of Frankfurt is a mortal blow to advise only: 2, five hours with a German speaking guide, tour the messy and a boring works (especially in the Goethe house where you almost one hour will be noted, for to see Möblel, the Goethe never). Nothing has been shown to us by the cathedral and paulskirche berühtem! Furthermore, foreign tourists complained, that the tape area in different languages anymore. The atmosphere is well worth it, also a visit to the church of our Lady of the Zeil, or on the main shipping. Cheap deals on the beach there were actually only with the large (breakfast included) organizers: with dertour we were best served.
