Hotel direct at the river *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe Red Lion on the river is located directly on the Columbia River, a bit out of Portland. The journey from the airport took about 20 minutes. We had a relatively large room with king size bed, a balcony and a view of the river. The bathroom was very large with a shower and bathtub. Between bathroom and bedroom it a separate sink. Coffee maker and iron are available. In the garden there is a pool and a Jacuzzi. For breakfast there were omelets, rosti, white bread and sweet raised pastry. Jam I got on request. We were with a group and had therefore probably there our own breakfast. On the map in the room there was at least a greater selection. All in all the hotel was okay, clean, friendly staff at the front desk. When we in the late evening a bottle of water from the shop was open to this, however, there were only soft drinks and the staff was not ready, a water from the camps to get. The next morning we learned from our friends, that there was a vending machines on each floor, he could have us at least. There were enough parking spaces in front of the hotel.
