A lot of comfort for relatively small money *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe drove through the first, as the exterior looks very large and luxurious, and we did not expect. The condition of the hotel is on the outside and very, very good. The hotel complex is located within a concert and driving range. We had a double room without breakfast. For a relatively small price of $99 we receive a real luxury room with huge flat screen TV. and a dream view through bodenhohe windows on the forecourt!
Location
The location of the hotel is very good. If you through the back exit left out of complex are just a few steps away from the city (a little square with fountains), from where it took you the Capitol (Parliament building of Alabama) can see. Directly in front of the hotel is a very cozy pub with terrace and live music. Right across the street is a small strip with several restaurants and bars.
The staff was extremely friendly, the Page in front of the hotel 15-19 cheerful and cheerful welcome. The room was exemplary clean. The breakfast, we chose to take it on room service was very extensive and tasty.
Gastronomy
The breakfast we ordered in addition and delivered to your room delivery was very good (although a as a German of course the rolls as well as meats and cheeses missing).
Sport & Entertainment Unused
Room
The room was extremely spacious and luxurious. Highlights were the large walk-in shower and the floor-to-ceiling windows which we a magnificent view of the front of the hotel with the old train station.
Tips and recommendations
The hotel was with $99 per night compared to what a real bargain and is definitely recommendable. recommendable were the guided tour of the Kapitols, the from the older Gill Hern carried out a Gemeindemitglied of Martin Luther King was and the historic running from selma to Montgomery creature is itself! For a good overview of the city, it is well worth the trolly ride from the railway station opposite the hotel. For 50 cents (!!! ) per person there is a day pass for the bus, looks like a train and in 2 different, 30 minute round through the town.
