Rheinhotel Rudesheim Germany
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe found the hotel to be spotless. The age group was middle & all nationalities. The buffet breakfast was adequate with excellant coffee There was an elevator which was great. There is about 8 steps up from street level
Location
The location was city centre about a 5 min walk. There is an airport shuttle & it's walkable from the train station. There is a bus stop very close by.
The management & staff were very helpfull & full of advise
Gastronomy
We only had breakfast. There was a nice bar for drinks & snacks. They have their own vineyard & the owner is the Vintner. Their ROSE is as good as you can get. The was an offer to send wine to Australia for us, nothing was a bother.
Sport & Entertainment
There is a new wellness area an indoor swimming pool plus a Finnish sauna & a colour light steam bath it was just great. There were Fax/photocopying facility's, bicycle rental & pets are allowed.
Room
Our room was at the front of hotel & we found it to be noisy. There were plenty of other to choose from, We had a balcony which would have been great if not for the noise. A mini bar would have been appreciated.
Tips and recommendations
We were there in June 2007 & the weather was good although a little cooler than normal.
