Loved it - wonderful
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe stayed at the Rixos from 25th Aug - 8th Sept. What can I say!!. My wife and I fly all over the world on business and stay in many hotels. This was for pleasure and that is what we got. We went with Sovereign and they were great. The room was upgraded from Twin Seaview to exclusive seaview - and what a view we had.
The staff were great all very friendly. I've read some reports that give negatives and I really don't know what about. In my travelling experience it is usually those who are used to nothing who complain the most. We have Turkish business freinds who now reside in the area and these along with the Rixos made it a wonderful holiday. Yes for us it was quite a hike to the 4th tier where our wonderful seaview room was - you cannot get it all. Bit of a pain having to ring for the A La Carte each night when needed - but Hey that is the system and we always got there in the end.
Food - lovely whether you opted for the Buffet - A La Carte Restaurants or the Snack Bars. Staff on the beach were great - nothing too much trouble.
Good thing was - few Brits there - most cannot afford it & it is great to be away from them in general.
To those who moaned - get a life !!! - If I get a chance to see my freinds again in Bodrum I would have no hesitation in staying at the Rixos.

Beach is on the complex. Beautiful gardens. about 20 mins into Bodrum.
Service was great. Staff very helpful and extremely polite

Great always a choice to be had at all times of the day.

All sorts of sports going on during the day.
Room
Upgraded from Twin Seaview to Family Sea view double - wonderful. Brilliant views.
Tips and recommendations
Word of advice - don't bother too much with Lira as Euros seem to be the main currency here. A few Lira for tips etc will suffice as you don't get a good exchange rate for them.
