Roca Nivaria Gran Hotel

There was nothing going on outside of the hotel, one should take the bus/taxi to the next largest town to go shopping.

In general, the service was ok. However, it often seemed that one had to wait unnecessarily at the spots where towels were handed out in the mornings. The staff was always friendly.

The following is to be said about the gastronomy: we only ate in the large restaurant (buffet-style). On the whole, the quality of the food was good. It was great that four components were freshly fried every evening, but only when ordered. What was annoying, however, was when one wanted to order an espresso after dinner but had to do this at the bar. During breakfast, one could only order Cafe con leche (warm), if one asked for cold milk one got the response that it was located at the buffet (5-star hotel?).
The rubbish about having a dress code for men frequenting the restaurant should generally be abolished. It can't be possible that a man wearing 3/4 trousers wasn't allowed in, but a woman wearing antiquated shorts and with wet hair was allowed in the restaurant.
There were 3 theme nights: Italian, Spanish and Mexican, but there weren't any significant changes to the buffet except to the costumes of the service staff.
We were also happy that we hadn't booked all-inclusive, the food at the pool restaurant for the all-in guests normally consisted of the leftovers from the night before.
But one could preorder (40 minute waiting period) a really good and rich Paella there.
The basic approach was good, as was the quality of the meals, however they should urgently make some changes to the diversity offered, the buffet restaurant didn't suit the hotel.

The 2 pools (salt and fresh water) had a super design and there were sufficient comfortable beach chairs available. One didn't have to reserve them with towels. A great and friendly kid's club with a great playing area for the kids.

Clean and friendly service. A great and spacious bathroom.
