A nice place to stay
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe cost is reasonable, the staff was helpful and friendly and the surrounding area simply gorgeous. It helps to have a car, but it isn't essential. The cottages are sturdy and roomy enough for a smaller group of people then advertised (e.g., a cottage designed for six, is really more comfortable for three or four. Wifi went down and it took four days for the Dutch company to come fix it.that was a major inconvenience. But once fixed, it worked fine. It cost 19.50 euros a week, however. They could use more washer/dryers on the premises, and if they are going to have a busload of teenagers, they should segregate them away from the other cottages since they were often loud and generally this place is very peaceful and quiet. . If you are looking to stay in this area for a while and want to explore the surrounding cities and countryside, this is a good alternative to an expensive hotel or home rental. But, it is a soemwhat rural area so although bus and trains are available, it would be best to have a car.
