SENTIDO Djerba Beach Hotel

The hotel was located directly by the beach. This was the only hotel in that beach section, that was really located RIGHT on the beach and breakfast was offered about 50 m away from the ocean. In the surrounding area was a shopping center available, the next city (Midoun) was within easy reach about 5 minutes with the taxi. ( About 1.50 € per drive). Entertainment possibilities outside of the hotel were so good as non-existent. The transfer time from the airport was about half an hour.

The hotel staff was very friendly and could speak German surprisingly well. There was always enough staff available to offer smooth service.

The restaurant was located directly on the beach, with outstanding view of the ocean. The buffet was very rich and offered something for every taste. Freshly made pizzas and pasta were there daily in different variations so really everyone found something there.
Furthermore there was a theme restaurant available with daily 5 course menu offer. Directly on the beach there was a beach bar, so no need to walk long to get a drink. There was a pool bar available.

Enough entertainment. The activities were not pushy. The beach was taken care of daily, plenty of beach chairs available. Water sports and Internet access were available for an extra charge.

The rooms were large enough and adequately furnished since this type of holiday only it was used only for sleeping.

We really felt comfortable in this hotel and on a return Djerba holiday would definitely go back to this hotel. Weather-wise we would rather recommend end of August to early September as the last two days were also cloudy and could not be spent on the beach. There were no complaints about the hotel.
