SENTIDO Djerba Beach Hotel

The hotel is located directly by the beach. The beach is cleaned every day and freed of algae. The transfer from the airport lasts around 30-45 minutes, depending on the number of hotels. With a taxi (really cheap) one can go quickly everywhere. In the immediate vicinity there is a bowling center and a casino. There are also some shopping facilities.

The service in the hotel is great. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. They speak German, French and also some English. The rooms are always very clean, during our stay there was no discomfort at all. The check in is done without problems.

There is a restaurant with food in buffet form and a theme restaurant. The food is very good and varied. There is something for everybody. Many thinks would be cooked directly. The waiters are very friendly and courteous. The whole restaurant is very clean and the tables are always very nicely arranged. We can't give any advice about the prices, because we booked all inclusive.

There is the option of playing tennis, volleyball and football. The volleyball court is directly in the beach. There is also a fitness room, a billiard room and an indoor swimming pool. In the hotel there is a "relax center", were one can book diverse massages, sauna and other wellness offers. The swimming pool area is very nice. The entertainment and children entertainment is very good. Almost every evening there is a performance in the rec room. There are water sports offered in the beach.

Very nice and clean room. There is air conditioning, TV, balcony, fridge, safe, phone, and hair dryer. One can see some German channels. The beds were always clean and the towels would be changed regularly. There weren't noise or smell nuisances.

The hotel is definitely to be further recommended. The price-performance ratio is appropriate. One only has to take into account that in February/March swimming in the sea is almost impossible, because the water is still very cold. Anyways, we would go again.
