4 Stars are just too much *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AFriendly staff, but the hotel building had certainly seen better days. The entrance promises still good, but the closer you in the direction room, makes you wonder how it got 4 stars go: staircase = durchgescheuerter carpet, Flurbeleuchtungen and light switches broken, worn through chrome armatures walls (could do with a lick of paint certainly time).
Location
Good on traffic, right on the train and bus station, 10 minutes walk to the city center, a beautiful old city directly on the 'old Rhein', cosiness guaranteed
Friendly staff, communication in many languages, German and English
Gastronomy
We had 'bed and breakfast': Typical standard breakfast, but nothing to brag about, we had expected a little better. The quality was okay.

Room
The double room was ok in terms of size, furniture have already past their best, cracks in the wood and big chippings on the beds, desks, two armchairs, so far in order. Unfortunately no mini bar, no air conditioning, airing during the day as there is no tilting window that could unfortunately impossible, and who left much its windows ajar when they open during the day? Bathroom, well: Worn fixtures, joints, soil, especially measurements over could do with some TLC, interior, toilet seat not attached bathroom with hardly any ventilation. Telephone and TV available, the Netherlands, In everyones book these Servicekanäle (Rechnungseinsicht, etc. ) were offered, but they work not
