Ideal for a trip to the city *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel was situated very centrally. Unfortunately, our room had a view of the back, where it was quite loud when one opened the window. Furthermore, the rooms on this side were very dark, which didn't contribute to one's feeling of well-being, but the size of the room and the beds especially were terrific. There was a used bathrobe and shoes in our room, which didn't necessarily speak in favour for the housekeeping of a 4/5-star hotel. I found the surcharge of 26.50€ for the hotel to be somewhat outrageous!
Location
The location of the hotel was first-rate. The shopping street was in the vicinity. Everything was good to reach on foot. Furthermore, one could also reach the Grand Palace and many bars and restaurants within a few minutes.
Since we didn't breakfast in the hotel, we cannot say that much about the service. The staff at check-in were very friendly.

Sport & Entertainment
The pool overlooking Brussels was really great. One had to enjoy this view.
Room
The room was very spacious, however very dark. There was no balcony. The beds were very large. Otherwise, the interior was as one expected of such a hotel. The noise from the A/C was such that one couldn't open the window at night. In this case, the room looked towards the back. The maid was in our room before 8 a.m. and wanted to clean it. Quite annoying on a Sunday!
Tips and recommendations
For our purposes, the hotel was totally alright. The staff was friendly and the price-performance ratio, with the exception of breakfast, was totally ok.
