Good, but expensive hotel *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel is located on a hill facing the Jomtien directly behind the pattaya Convention Center. The complex is very green and there are four pools: a main pool, a pool for children and adults and two smaller over the complex distributed. We were always in the main pool. During our stay we always got two beach chairs. If beach chairs were reserved and not visited for a long time, been removed these are, which I find very praise-worthy. But now I'm just back to the beginning! At the check-in we had to wait a bit, because only two of the four switches were occupied. Otherwise everything is running smoothly! The complex is built on a slope, which makes a few steps needed, but also for elderly people should make no effort. And if you do, call a small enough, and you picked up with a cart. Breakfast was good and plentiful. We sat on the terrace and the view at the breakfast was fantastic-with the rodent best thing I have ever had. The beach is not usable. Impossible to swim, as you have to make sure in advance this is a pure pool vacation, if you need to stay in this hotel. The pool boys were always attentive and you always get free cold water. In the afternoon the pool boys are walking with free ice cream. But what you can complain about is, the pool boys with completely dirty and uniforms are pussyfooting around. That is just for a five stars hotel. Sheraton is spending too much money, 10E for a new uniform to spend?
After pattaya with the Tuk-Tuk if no traffic is a maximum of five minute. If you are in pattaya enters or you get paid for short haul just 10 THB per person, really not much. Well, pattaya is pure sex tourism, who goes there must be aware of this. Around the hotel, there are a few restaurants about 15-20 minutes. A walk to reach.
The rooms are spacious and the bath large. Shower has one extra. 40' LCD and a DVD player included.
All in all I would recommend this hotel. The menu contains a surprise, really salted prices.
If I compare the Sheraton Hotel, I don't know (except for the beach) why the Sheraton Hua Hin 'bad' I was evaluated. On the contrary, I say to myself, it is hard to beat! By far not of pattaya. If you are looking for a relaxing weekend, go with the Sheraton Hua Hin much better!
