The place to spend your vacation in Südtirol
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThis was the first vacation we (family of three) spent in Südtirol. My husband found Quellenhof over the Internet during a search for family hotels and at first, I was sceptical if there would be enough to do for our "city girl" 5 year old daughter besides hiking. From day one on until the end of our two week trip she was happily active with her new friends at the kids club, cascarding down the mega slide at the big pool or on-site horse-back riding with "the" pink helmet. And - to her delight - she only had to go hiking once (!) with Mom and Dad. The girls looking after kids at the kids club are very loving and capable. That was great for us parents. Highlights of the hotel are the new Vital wellness area with relaxing salt room, the Wednesday BBQ with live music, the Dirndl-clad girls serving at dinner, the big pool slide, very friendly service and a relaxing spa with a huge variety of treatments. The Friday night Kindershow was enjoyable - with our daughter in the alien stint (still humming that song since last week...). Recommendable is the rafting trip as an activity. The 5-course dinner is truly amazing - gourmet. Impressive. We really liked our apartment in Vital - interior design and all. Probably one noticable room for improvement was the pool bar, where it always took 10 minutes to order and service could have been better. Otherwise, our trip was perfect and we plan to head back to Quellenhof next summer. To wrap up: a real family hotel with lots of activities to do for botlh kids & big people with very friendly service and excellent food.
