Before booking as we completing the "moderate" reviews on HolidayCheck we were very careful and did not the cheapest or special offer (twin room for 60 € - on hotels. Nl even incl. Breakfast), but the double room for 75 € (without breakfast). When we arrived we were given means for €25 surcharge we could a newly renovated double room instead of old "Twin room" - a more than unpleasant surprise. After long discussions reluctantly but we got a double room as selected. As the hotel was still in transition, was the value not good. Disturbing were for example. The smell problem (paint or lacquers) in the hallways and a litte stairwell under construction and container and construction sites ambience in front of the hotel. The room was apart from the superficial cleaning and the fact that it was not renovated, quite ok - quite spacious with a big comfy double bed. will be noted that the catalog description of the hotel access the reality. We were unhappy!
