Best value for money hotel ever
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThis Steigenberger Hotel in Leipzig was my best hotel experience so far and I have stayed in a lot of hotels over the last years.
It is located directly in the city center of Leipzig next to the old town hall. The hotel just opened in 2011 - so it was completely new. Although there is no parking space available, they offer valet parking at a reasonable price (20 EUR first night, 5 EUR every following night). We just kept our car the entire time in their hands because you do not need a car there.
The reception is very fancy and the receptionists were very friendly. They rechecked the room and category what we booked. And it seemed to be a mistake in the data which they corrected automatically and without any hassle. The room was spacious and very well decorated like a design hotel. The bathroom was even bigger with a bath tub and a shower. Shower and toilette were separated from each other and from the rest of the bath room. Shower had a rain shower.
One day we used the wellness facility in the cellar - again very stylish with open stone walls. They had 3 saunas 60°C, 90°C and a steam bath.
