Great location, but otherwise poor *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A ATo be honest, we are disappointed. The hotel has an unbeatable location, but else?! We had booked the hotel limousine service and nearly fell down, as we entered the BMW. Smokey without end of! It didn't work. Similarly, we had all our luggage alone into the hotel, it was not taken from us. This is a no-go for a five stars hotel. The limousine service cost 45 euro and I expect at least the luggage at the wearing of help. I think the 45 Euro was not justified. We have stayed 8:30 there, it was only a smoking room available, (we looked at us with the lady at the front desk at, which has said, that it for non-smokers not reasonable would be, because it smells), so we arrived just after 14 o'clock walked into the room. As a compensation We got a voucher for a welcome drink for ten Euros. More on that later... Arrived in the room was everything okay, except for the coffee/tea making facilities at the leftovers from the previous guest were the empty... Two hours later was then a loud noise to be heard. From the front desk was immediately someone skilled. This could also places the sound is not and we were allowed to move again. (Just everything was unpacked) no apology, nothing. There arrived in the room was everything okay. Until the second day, when we more often had problems to get into the room. This was then not anymore, so the front desk down, new show (seems to be the norm) and back up to the room. Again no access. So the maid mentioned. Who said that 'it is probably the broken'. We are going back down and the castle was exchanged. Again no apology, etc. then we sorted it out in the evening our voucher for a welcome drink for family... A. Value to ten euro. It was, that the ten Euros per person subject, but few. We found that to be rude, we had the voucher but because of the extremely long period of waiting. So, we must have a, 80 euros. Even though we had a deluxe rooms had was the mini bar was not filled up, the maid was on two out of three days at nine o'clock in the room. The shampoo bottle, which we appreciated had gels, once filled up and I mean really filled up, because it was not put new bottle, but a opened, once used. That is not at all. They should really be considered. On an opinion from the hotel, I am very pleased.

Sehr geehrte Romy,wir haben Ihre Beurteilung gelesen und möchten uns in aller Form dafür entschuldigen, dass Sie einige negative Erlebnisse bei uns in Wien hatten.
Die aufgeführten Punkte entsprechen absolut nicht unserem Anspruch an Service und es ist für mich sehr wichtig, diesen Dingen nachzugehen.
Bitte seien Sie versichert dass wir hier intern entsprechend reagieren.
Den Vorfall mit dem Limousinenservice würde ich sehr gern genauer recherchieren da wir hier eine Dienstleister nutzen, von dem wir sonst nur Gutes hören. Alle Autos sind absolut rauchfrei und die Fahrer müssen unseren Gästen mit dem Gepäck helfen - ich wäre Ihnen sehr dankbar für mehr Details zu Ihrem Aufenthalt (Anreisdatum, Gastname, Zimmer Nr. ?) gern per email an susanne.joszt@herrenhof-wien.steigenberger.at.
Zur Anreisezeit morgens möchte ich anmerken, dass eine Anreise im Hotel ab 14 Uhr möglich ist und wir, wie üblich in der Hotellerie, vorher keine freien Zimmer garantieren können. Ein früherer Check-in ist aus Kulanz nach Verfügbarkeit möglich und unsere Mitarbeiterin hat ihr Bestes getan Ihnen zu helfen. Demnach sollte der Gutschein für einen Drink in der Bar nicht als Entschuldigung gelten. Es tut mir leid, dass die gut gemeinte freundliche Geste für Sie als negativ empfunden wurde.
Ich würde mich freuen, wenn Sie uns die Gelegenheit geben, Sie bald einmal wieder von unserer Dienstleistung zu überzeugen.
