Good hotel/ bad behaviour of waiters (sunset terrace)
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe stay last November 2010 at the "Nile Palace Hotel" and visit it again after the 25th of Januari 2011 for sunset and dinner.
Our stay in November was really relaxing and fine, the place was give us a real cosy feeling then.
But because we found a more private hotel on the "Westbank" , we decide to stay this time in Januari 2011 with them.
For the nice feeling of our previous stay in November 2010, we choose one afternoon to come to visit the "Nile Palace" again and enjoy the sunset and the fellucca terrace.
After that we had planned to visit the"Italian Restaurant" which we most like the last time in November.
The sunset was still amazing at the terrace, you really feel like in a movie, rather then in a big hotel!
But sad to say, there was a point which was surprising and disappointed.
The same waiters who make our previous stay in November so brilliant, ignore us now completely, until my girlfriend went by herself for order!
So we finished the drink, had to wait again until the waiter ended his discussion with his fellows and finally brouhgt us the bill, without even trying to ask us for another order!
This give us really doubts about the rest of the evening, but nevertheless, we moved on for dinner. And this dinner in the"Italian Restaurant" was most pleasant and we smoothed out our concern and we really enjoy the evening, or better to say, the rest of it!
Here the headwaiter and his staff remembered us and he did tip us as usual for a good perfomance! This was really a strange feeling, to see in one evening in the same hotel, so totally different way of treatment and service! We did,nt understand the uncertaincy of the situation and the behavoir of the staff on the sunset terrace on the Nile that evening!
Now my girlfriend is check where to book for the next summertrip, as we fall in love with "Luxor", but she insisted that we go for the same "Westbank Hotel" again and go for different locations to have dinner!
