Steigenberger Hotel al Dau Club

Having been around a bit in the area, we think the hotel is really well situated, easily accessible from the airport and pleanty of shopping facitlities in the area that are just as good as the ones in the center of Hurghada. The excursions offered by the hotel made it easy to explore the surrounding areas and we thouroughlly enjoyed the snorkling session to the wonderful Paradise beach and we strongly recomend it!

As mentioned earlier, one of the most striking thing about the hotel is the amazing service. But not only is the hotel kept spotless and the service impecable, it is made with a smile! and for us that makes the difference between our stay at Steigenberger and other vacations we've had. Few places if any, have we felt so welcomed and this lovely friendly atmosphere. Never any problem making ourselves understood, and never was there a problem if we asked for help, on the contrary, everyone was more that glad to help. This amazing hospitality is the main memory we bring home with us, the nice chats and the warm smiles.

I could go on and on about how great the food was and as mentined earlier the mix of things known and new was perfect. We got to try some amazing local specialities and at the same time our son got a royal breakfast with all the foods he knows an loves from home. We also appreciated the opportunuity to sometimes have our lunch in the beach restaurant as well, where we could choose to have a sturdier or lighter meal. For the rare occasion where we actually got a little hungry between meals, the afternoon snack were always very tasty. Needless to say the free and yummy supply of icecream every day was very well recieved by both children and parents!

As with everything else, we felt there was something for everyone, mummy had a go at the water aerobics, daddy got some good matches of football and volleyball at the beach and our son joined in on the varous activities for children, everything from mini golf to easter eggs hunt. The animation team really contibuted to the warm atmosphere and we always felt very reassured when our son was in their care.
The beach area is wonderful, great service and comfortable sunbends - like our son was saying: -Mum, this is exactly what we wanted!

We were two grown-up and on child of 5 years old, and for us the size of the room was perfect. comfortable beds and tons of space for putting clothes and bags away. coming back after a day to find a cool, clean room was a bliss every day.

We travelled in Easter, wich this year was the end of April, and for us the temperature was perfect, we were also todl it was a great time of the year to go because we were blessed with a wonderful cooling breeze thet made it very comfortable fro our son. the water and pool temperatures were also very good, especially compared to the Mediterranean sea.

Shopping was really really good, incredible prices and you could always find known brands of health products etc. if needed.

Don't miss out on the wonderful Cleopatra treatment offered at the spa. Very reasonably prices and worth every single cent and more. What bliss!

We tried excursions both offered by the hotel and by other operators in the area, and although the excursions sometimes could be a tad bit cheaper if you go outside the hotel, it really is no the same standard and you don't get your money worth. So, a tip is to go with the excursions offered byt the htel where you can be sure to get a wonderful eperience.
