Very much noise, but otherwise ok *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AIn principle the hotel, food, service, beach, etc. always good to very good-only the noise it didn't bother us. For a hotel in the price range we had hoped for something else. If you are looking for a quiet holiday want, should better go somewhere else. The hotel is quite close to the airport runway location (see map on holidaycheck), so that one landing planes from the vicinity of the hotel and unfortunately also could hear. Even the more distant planes could clearly hear you in an awkward wind conditions. Especially in our room at night and we felt disturbed us. At the pool the grounds are hardly seen fortunately, because the Hotel building as a protective works. Really quiet here yet. There are several reasons: firstly, there is a large number of vociferous ventilation sven flophouse gates (because of the air conditioning) on the roof of the hotel. Second, the water falls in the pool area and the so-called lazy river, for those an artificial stream is generated, a whole series of pumps in operation. These are all over the pool area installed (optically very well camouflaged) and humming the whole day there. Thirdly, it is the permanent current music from the bars/restaurants by the pool and beach to name but a few. We thought it was on duration quite annoying from early morning to late night with latin salsa and taste-rhythms to be played. Furthermore, the music from the disco was from the neighboring hotel in some areas (all day) very good to hear. Right on the beach is anyway not really quiet, since permanent Motor boating (for example water skiing or parasailing) to pass. We are the pool and the beach several times at different times expired (optically this is really very nice) and were able to discover unfortunately no silent freckle. Also, you could sometimes in the evening in an awkward odor a diesel on the beach of the many yachts and motorboats, exercise by the heimkehrten snorkeling and diving,. Finally, we would also like to stress quite clearly, with everything else, what the hotel, were very happy with it. Especially, if you consider, that you are in a desert Africa is. The food was very good and adapted to the european taste. There was even dark bread from the hotel's own bakery. The entire staff was very friendly and speaks English very well and mostly even also a little German. Room and bathroom were very clean. Other etc. we are here in our assessment on the noise especially detail, since we had read in any other, and we believe, that for the price a quieter holiday can expect.
