Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe grounds of the hotel are beautiful and it was in a very quiet location from the noisy sidari - luckily. The grounds are beautifully kept and all the staff are very friendly. When we arrived we were a very small room, which was on the ground floor, this wasn't good as you'll hear every car going past ( there are many damned cars as all Italians come with the ferry), also the walk was right in front of the balcony and a playground, so you didn't really undisturbed breakfast. After 3 days we were allowed in the upper staying here but it was beautiful spacious everything and one was not more so on display! The cleanliness left to be desired but it was very! Black hairs and dirt everywhere, that is to be expected in purchase! The cleaners are quite dear women but they shine the corridor and all rooms with a mop (not a removable cloth) thus it is clear that the dirt and many black hairs in every room just be allocated. We ( buzzing with disgust) a Swiffer Sagrotan bought and even cleaned and the two weeks. The sheets and towels were also very dirty and stained! The best way is to get yourself with (something we were lucky to). At breakfast we were only once-then never again! It is a big table with not much. A very basic breakfast which is not something special! The beach is situated in the immediate vicinity (5 minute walk) - this is a very small bay (beautiful, a dream) where in the high season but all together yourself. As it was too much for us and the surrounding beaches weren't so great ( sidari no go zone), we everyday to a beach toward rhoda we went! Had plenty of space and was not is overwhelming! The tavernas around the hotel are wonderful and highly recommended! An absolute must we found "the ROCK" is just over the Canal d'amour. Here we went twice food, because the food is delicious. Shopping possibilities were in the immediate vicinity. There is also a large grocery store, it is best to reach by car ( but is well worth it as you will get everything - Sconto market). Sidari itself is terribly noisy and hung everywhere drunken British tourists. Sidari was absolutely worth it not, you are better in rhoda or in the south cared for here! All in all it was a beautiful holiday, but without a car it would have been terrible! On the number of black hair we could have done without!
