Great holiday with Ocean Elements
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A ARooms are very basic, just to warn you.not that it matters, you don't spend much time in them!
The shower whilst always very hot, didn't have a wall attachment so had to be handheld all week. A pain when first arrived, but didn't really care by the second day.
Rooms cleaned daily and towels/sheets changed once during the week.
Fridge in room was a big bonus to keep cold drinks/lunches in.
You can drink the tap water on the island.
All outside spaces are beautifully presented - gardens, pool area etc.
Location
Hotel is right on the beach.
Only people using the hotel seem to use the stretch of beach infront of the hotel.
Beach is pebbly - bring flipflops!
Water very clear - can see the fish!!
All areas are tidied up every evening and morning. Gardens watered, paths washed down, furniture tidied up.
Small shops within a stones throw, larger supermarket within walking/cycling distance on the way into Vassiliki town.
Bar/cafe open during day and serves food/drinks at reasonable prices. A few restaurants close to hotel and lots in Vasiliki - about 15mins walk away.
Maz and her team were so friendly and on hand whenever you needed anything. Always very thankful for someone being onhand to carry your board/sail up from the beach
Felt very safe on the water - always people on watch from the beach, watchtower and speedboats. If you drift out, they will come get you!
Gastronomy
Range of restaurants.
Would've been good if poolbar open in evenings too.
End of week BBQ good.
Sport & Entertainment
Brilliant!
Went as a beginner windsurfer and got my L1 - as did the whole group.
The staff are always on hand to assist, even outside of lessons. They are passionate about the sports and seem to love that you are learning and getting into it too.
Room
Didn't matter really as never in it. But basic (although clean).
