On our route over new Year's Eve 2010/2011 we spent four Australia in Sydney nights in this hotel. When we arrived by taxi we were extremely friendly welcome. The check-in was smooth and our not perfect English was at the communication was no problem. The staff was very helpful and are on a. Our room was in the 17 floor on the side away from the Hyde park. Large windows by the rooms we had a great view over a part of the city.
The hotel is very centrally located close to Hyde park. Restaurants, harbor, the Opera House, darling harbor and shopping are easy walking distance. Alternatively, there are good bus connections and the free city bus for the city center. As the city has so much to offer an eternity, we can use all the offers of the hotel. We have booked overnight stay without breakfast and the restaurant not tested. In accordance with the view of the menu, it would be worth a visit former!
Pool and fitness room are located in the 23. Floor. Sporting activities there is so over the roofs of Sydney. The view is amazing. The rooms are fully equipped. Tv, telephone, internet access, hair dryer, safe and minibar are standard. The closet was full and had room for a week stay at least 4. Our room also had a small fully equipped kitchen. Tea and coffee were refilled daily. In the lobby there was an Internet corner. The entrance is at the front desk to purchase.
The staff was always very nice and always very helpful with our questions.
With holidaycheck I have looked for a (reasonably affordable) Hotel in Sydney on new Year's Eve 2010 and the Sydney Marriott found and booked. Unfortunately, there was at the time of my reservation was no evaluation. That should change now. We only had positive experiences in this hotel and all interested can recommend a stay at any time with good conscience.
