Good hotel with a few flaws, sea great *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe had the deluxe balcony rooms garden. 30,10 number of 202 to 03 November 2011. Here it is, what we didn't like :-the room was a little getting old (the hotel, told us the butler, is in the meantime 15 years old).-prices for In-room/dining very high. For example a total cost about 16 euro club burger.-the tides in the ocean (low tide and high tide) were very considerable. At low tide there was no swimming in the sea. Water depth only 0, three meters. Swimming in the sea at high tide. In this case, a maximum water depth, 90 meters to about 400 meters away from the beach. Swimming is then just possible.-at the bottom of the sea a lot of seaweed, in part. Also stones, corals. This didn't feel well as fine sand. Otherwise everything was okay. Conclusion: for a pure bath stay it was worth it not to travel to Bali. In Asia, then better to Thailand, for example, Koh Samui. The service in Bali is compared to Thailand much worse. Restaurant prices in Bali also quite high. Higher than in Thailand. For a stay in Asia is the Santiburi resort in maenam KOH Samui better suited. The Santiburi resort on KOH Samui was in maenam far our best beach hotel in Asia with great service.
