Titanic Beach Resort Hotel

The transfer from the airport takes no more than 20 mins which is fantastic after your flight. Right on the beach with its on pier with bar so no having to go back to pool bar for drinks. Plenty of sunbeds too on the beach. The surrounding strip that the hotel is on is not so appealing, very underdeveloped and a lot of wasteland. so if you like to get out and walk along the strip and try different bars etc, this paticular area of lara beach is not for you. There are some shops along the strip amongst the other hotels. Which are ok for a bit of shopping, remember to barter price down. Use these shops though not the hotel ones, the hotel shops are very expensive, 25 euros for suntan cream compared to pharmacy just outside hotel which was 12 euros!. Excursions are available through your tour operator, i didnt do any though so cant comment.

All staff are friendly, apart from the odd one, the young lad on the ice cream round the solaris bar couldnt even manage a smile or acknowledgment. other than that no complaints, quite a few could speak english well enough to hold a conversation and those that couldnt always manged a smile, hello, thankyou! Bar staff and waiters round the solaris bar at night were fanatastic, worked very hard, we had a good laugh with them. Room was cleaned to a high standard and we even got a towel swan with petals a few times, which is pleasant to come back to.

There are 3 different restuarants to eat from included in the package, and numerous bars. We used the pool bar more than anything. Only went to the bowling bar once, you can play pool, bowling and arcade games for extra money here. Breakfast which is served in the main restuarant has a wide variety of choice from pastries too cereals, eggs, pancakes, toasties, fruit, hot food, juices, coffee. Lunchtime you have a choice of buffet style in main restuarant, or you can go down towards the beach and use the otag tent, where they make turkish pizza and the restuarant opposite it, her you can get spit roast chicken and burgers etc. all do excellent food. There are snacks served at the solaris pool bar later in the afternoon, jacket potatoes, cobs, biscuits, icecream etc. Teatime there is buffet style in the main restaurant where there is a wider variety of food than lunchtime, but it doesnt really alter much from night to night. I did find after about a week was getting a bit fed up if the same food. You can also use the a la carte service although you have to pay extra and book, we didnt use this service, after reading other reviews it seems the food is the same as the main hall you just get waiter service. Midnight snack from 12 pm is good, hotdogs, toasties, omelettes. All in all though the food is excellent and even the fussiest of eaters will find something.

I cannot praise the Entertainment team enough! They work so hard with the activities that are available during the day and the shows and parties at night. Activities during the day too name a few pool games, darts, archery, airgun shooting, step aerobics, water polo. We tried many and had such a laugh with the staff. Too name a few, Samet, Serdar, Omar and Serkan all made it very entertaining whilst doing these activities and also at night with the parties were always getting us up too dance and making our Holiday even more enjoyable. The themed parties are brilliant, Four Seasons, White party,make sure you have something white to wear packed in your case, were my favourites. The pools are clean and of a very good size, 4 in total, so plenty too choose from also the hotel has its own waterslides so great fun for the family. My only faults are in a 5 star hotel i would expect free wifi, not have to pay for it and the watersports on the beach are too expensive. Also if it rains at night it can get a little boring has shows and parties get cancelled, perhaps it might be a thought to be able to put discos on in the convention centers(if not being used ) when it rains.

Room is of a good size, and of a good standard, cleaned daily. Minibar is stocked daily which if free with soft drinks,water and beer. Balcony is just right too sit out on. Tv in room a bit small and not very many english speaking channels. Free sfae provided in the room, wardrobes very spacious plenty of space for clothes. You arent allowed to use irons or coffee machines in the room, says it is forbidden, dont know why. But there isnt a laundry room you can use yoursef too iron, you have too pay the hotel yourself which is again expensive. My suggestion hide your travel iron i did! Air conditioning worked well although we did have too leave it on all day to keeep room cool.

I can highly recommend this hotel, Staff are brilliant, hotel is amazing and you really will be bowled over by it. Its the reason we went back cause it took our breathe away the first time we went in 2010 and it was even better during our visit in may2011. There is very little too complain about. What more can you ask for in a holiday, Sun, Sea, food, drink and entertainment. I had such a ball and was so relaxed after a two week stay, i cried at the thought of coming home to England. The place really does go above and beyond what you expect, well in my eyes it does, you really have to see it too believe it, Thank you Titanic and Staff for creating some magical memories for me and my family.
