We inhabited an apartment on the ground floor of a terraced house residence, for five people announced is. There were two bedrooms, two bathrooms one with shower, the other with bath, a miniature kitchen line, and a combined living/ Eßraum with small table and chairs, as well as the pull out couch on the fifth person slept. All in all it is rather cramped to, especially if you have five people with bad Weather to stay there. The equipment of the apartment was very appealing, but not necessarily luxurious. The beds we were all uncomfortable and the check-in process hard like a board as night possibility also a real challenge. There was an air conditioning system, where we are right in the first night the service acknowledged and a huge lake on the tiled floor left. But after a quick call to the front desk a technician came immediately, who brought the case in order and then cooled the complex smooth.
On the terrace at the front of the apartment there was a round table, chairs and a clothes to five hang the wet bathing suits.
The grounds were very nice houses in the very well-kept and beautiful shady garden. In the area there was a separate pool at the pool bar the breakfast and lunch as an alternative to the large dining room in the hotel could enjoy. The dining room had rather the atmosphere of a school cafeteria. Huge, simplest tables and chairs in long rows, no privacy for example, by optical unit or smaller groups of tables and then the huge noise level due to the crowds accompanied by constantly the same background music. It would have been better several dining at our disposal, or even the meals on two meetings to spread out. Since we were five people, we had to find the problem practically every day and also clean table. If you had to sit down at one table and just abandoned hope, that the service staff aggressively wiping down earlier. We found the situation that was a very unsatisfactory and four stars Hotel. For breakfast there was coffee in airpots the one on the table- as long as we had the luck to get, a. Unfortunately no cappuccino or espresso. Fresh juice only against payment.
Lunch and dinner was always the same. Various vegetables and salads with various sauces, one or two salads with mayo (always looked for, as were the leftovers from the previous evening was processed), different main dishes from fish/meat, mostly from the grill, different side dishes and dessert buffet. Many people have complained but only always the same mood. Their sweet cakes in different colors but the same taste, some fruit, sometimes some Creams and three types of ice-cream.
The meat and the fish due to the always same preparation on the grill (rosemary branch in the oil pan and mitb rates more or less the same food. In addition there were always freshly prepared pizza was very delicious!
The drinks were by 'all inclusive' yes costs, but the taste was lowest level. There was water (that was) a coke and fanta similar sweet lemonade, two sorts of simplest wine and two types of almost non-potable Beer.
Since there were still two specialties Restaurants, where you can also, we wanted to do so as quickly as possible. But here you had to reserve a table and got always reply ' everything today, morning, in three days is es'... So good, better than never-we reserved and went with complete anticipation in the 'local tavern' by the pool. The food was just as in mega-dining room-with the difference, that you could not choose, but got put anything. Furthermore, there were local music.
Then we tried the restaurant down by the sea. And this is a big compliment! Finally, you could choose the food à la carte, (there is already a map with very good choice-but it must be a normal pay), but it was a set menu for the 'brokers', but it was stylish from waiter served, presented on behalf, and extremely nice and suggestions accommodating was. And it tasted very good! The drinks were free of charge were not in but the 'all inclusive' service included. We ate in this restaurant twice and really enjoyed it each time. So should holiday in a hotel and not a mass processing same!
For us it was unfortunately nothing and we would definitely not book this hotel anymore. If the nothing mind, that is certainly very well cared for, because the complex was very well-kept, the pools wonderful, the sea was wonderfully clear and sport-or employment possibilities plentifully offered. There is also a free bike rent, you should definitely use them. The walk along the sea front to porec is lovely and it is worthwhile really!
