Everything was spotless and very recommendable! *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AHotel van der Valk gave us during our Amsterdam-trip very good and absolutely exceeded our expectations. The Communication was done in English, where we were always very helpful and accomodating met. Even if it is a conference, here you will be transported in holiday mood.
Our highlights were: the excellent breakfast (especially on Sundays for brunch!), the best service and the helpful staff, the beautiful pool with panoramic view, and color coordinated rooms are modern, and quiet the bicycle double room with terrace.
What we missed were: cocktails at the hotel bar, information leaflets for non-resident or tourists in English language, central location and Almere currently populated is so spread out that in principle we anyway all by car and bus must drive.
Tip: let you at check-in a map of Almere enter, the one on request free of cost, the nearest bus stop is Walt-Disney Plantson and is in about five minutes walk reachable (in town-ticket just 2.50 €), 20 minutes by car to park & Ride arena Transferium (Burge meester Stramanweg 130, Amsterdam 1101 EP) for a city trip to Amsterdam (8 €including parking for 1 day and two railway ticket in the Amsterdam-City), the Chinese restaurant across the street offers sushi at, in the hostels in Amsterdam are plenty of discount tickets in the lobby for guided, Egmond aan Zee is about 1 hour away by car and offers a gorgeous beach destination.
