beautiful, quiet hotel despite it being near the motorway *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel has the usual van der Valk-status, so quite generously. The staff at reception staff is friendly, professional and helpful. We had a room in the part of the new building with balcony. The bathtub and the washbasin were in bedroom, which we personally didn't like. As a couple is the maybe very nice, but we found the a friend bathtub rather disturbing and 'real' a bathroom preferred. From the room there was a door to the shower tub, as well as a separate toilet. Everything very modern and clean. Unfortunately there was no fridge and no safe in the room, but a kettle, as well as soluble coffee and teabag.
the location is very good, if one is ready by car after Apeldoorn to drive. The bike trail there is on the main street along and is not very nice. Apeldoorn has a nice city center and is ideal for shop.
we have in the hotel wheels borrowed and are equipped with the bicycle to the national park 'Hoge Veluwe' risks. A very beautiful way, highly recommendable. Unfortunately we have a night there spend may, we have done would like more bike tours.
the buffet at the evening there was a great diversity of food and beverage very good, the breakfast buffet offered something for everyone. Only the coffee maker in the corner of the room was a bit unhappy, I could me imagine that at peak time long lines arise.
the restaurant is very large and outside there is a beautiful terrace.
it pleased us there well and I will definitely in the summer go back again.
