hiking and relax in Madeira *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AUnfortunately, the pool could not be used otherwise rather spectacular location of the hotel. Rental car urgently needed, no public transport (package offer with rental car definitely use) walks start at immediate nearby the hotel, you have to keep going. Also there is no gastronomy in immediate nearby, the is however with half board not necessary.

Auf ein paar Punkte, die Sie erwähnten, möchten wir eingehen:
Es tut uns leid, dass unsere Gäste vorübergehend den Pool nur ungeheizt nutzen konnten. Im Heizkreislauf war eine Pumpe ausgefallen, und bis Ersatzteile auf der Insel eintreffen, dauert es immer ein paar Tage.
Einen Mietwagen braucht man eigentlich egal wo man auf der Insel wohnt, um die ganzen Wanderungen zu erreichen. Direkt vor der Haustür kann man nur ein zwei Wanderwege erwarten. Von der Vila Mia führt einer der alten Wege Madeiras (vor dem Strassenbau) hinunter ans Meer und von dort zu den Nachbarorten. Der Weg ist als Wanderweg sehr gut in Stand gehalten.
Wir haben die Vila Mia vor ein paar Jahren übernommen, mit den baulichen Begebenheiten, leider auch mit nicht ausreichender Behindertentauglichkeit.
Als kleines Hotel können wir bauliche Änderungen aber nur schrittweise umsetzen.
