Vila Valverde - Design Country Hotel

Very quiet location, enormous grounds, everyone can retreat within the complex, beach about 1 km, either on foot along the street, but even better with the rental car drive, a supermarket in the place, well stocked, there you could get everything you needed. Plenty of basic but good local places to eat at Luz, party is not possible there, there was no disco.

Service was very good, you just had to ask if you only had a special request. The owners care to part of personal attention to the needs of guests, Angstelle spoke English well.

There are really only a very good breakfast from 8 -11am every day. To order up to 12 hours a day before the next day you can also receive a dinner. Great atmosphere at breakfast, everything was very clean and stylish. If it's not too hot outside you could breakfast on the patio, the request I'm sure I will make sure comment on and this is also met.

There is a very nice large indoor heated swimming pool, (approx. 15X6 meters), 28°C warm, without chlorine, a very nice sauna with plunge pool, these can be turned on at any time for the guests, just the reception, warming-up time about 20 minutes, then you can go, outdoor swimming pool about 7x7 meters, about 150 meters from the main buildings on the property, there are lying chairs available as well as on the large property under some trees and bushes, anyone can select your own space, mostly is not a guest ! The pool itself, there were no shower and toilet, here one had to go to the main building or go back to your room. There is absolutely no entertainment, here is brand quiet except when grass was mowed, then it is somewhat louder, but only for a short time.

Rooms are very large, we had the standard room, it was totally fine, but there are also larger rooms and suites, minibar (so small fridge for our own drinks) is available, our TV was a bit small, but it was enough, air conditioning is available, and I found it a bit noisy at night, we had this out and patio door this, electric blinds to terrace. Large bed - we found it a little hard. Telephone, coffee (surcharge, I didn't like it very much, should be included in the room rate), hairdryer, large bathtub used as the shower, large cupboards many things are available, separate couch to sit. Terrace with two sun beds with a fantastic view of the place Luz and the Atlantic Ocean.

Hotel has a great design, great location, you can make holiday, just some R&R, not too much going on, no bustle breakfast buffet or in other parts of the hotel. Rental car is necessary in order to explore the other beaches, the nearest golf course is just 2 minutes walk away. We had about 140 € for 2 people with breakfast, which I found adequate, there are more expensive, can't comment on season times there is every decide for himself, if he want to pay the - I can only recommend the hotel.
