Hotel for very small claims *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe had booked this hotel at a time, as the reviews for this were very good. Came only later (bad) reviews more, the according to our opinion, for this hotel were more than justified. Because the Hotel is absolutely not to be recommended. The reasons therefor are as follows:
Rooms: our room was spacious, but the cleanness left a lot to be desired. The cleaning was every day the beds were made, but it was apparently already. The floor was so dirty, so that after showering could not walk barefoot in the room, but had to immediately put on shoes. Rest of the sanitary facilities were also by the force (not!) cleaned. The closet was unusable, as it smelled without end, so that we were the first time out of a suitcase lived on holiday.
Food: The breakfast was a total letdown. Little selection, poor taste, no variation. We could do it after two days and had breakfast outside. The dinner tasted better and more varied (except for the dessert-it was almost always fruit, while the chef fun with ice cream), but therefor I found the main course is often very greasy. The pasta as appetizer for us was the best.
Pool: small and old.
Location: in our opinion much too remote. In front of the hotel was a bus stop, but the bus only every hour, firstly, and secondly, had mostly mad delay. Also the bus driver strike when we were there, so we had to walk a couple of times. The walk is about 30 degrees in just much too far, since about 30 minutes on the way back uphill walk. For us was that no relaxation.
The island is recommended and has some very nice beaches.
