A hotel with good chances but bad person *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe travel frequently to Spain and can therefore very easy to draw comparisons. The hotel is a four star vil La Romana, which in my opinion should be only three. Certainly it was a really good hotel, but the was even... but it is also not really bad!
I myself am a restaurant coach and have seen precisely in the area of employee the biggest problem. The restaurant team is not motivated, the guests with problems, or they want to understand and not turn away a. Plates were very rarely cleared from the table. It is also, of course, the staff did a good job, but unfortunately the majority is simply only lazy. I do not have a clear lead for service.
At the reception we had 20 euro deposit for the baby bed. Sorry, should I pack the bed after the week in my cabin and fly back to Germany. What is the? Honestly we have asked us really, where we ended up here.
Also the room cleaning was with us in the second floor not clean. Our parents, the also the hotel were at the same time, however, was the cleaning OK this is me again on the motivation of the staff go back. Here is really the biggest and real problem in the vil La Romana.
The conclusion:
If you are not a lot of emphasis on service, you will find the hotel is very good. You want decent service, is often one noticed, that the staff really is a problem. I would stress, that I just expect only decent service, I know is, that I not German four star standard can!
I would give the hotel a satisfactory rating! The frame is correct, the implementation depends!
