Perfect for hiking, wellness and *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AIf a quiet place and architecturally attractive surroundings hiking and want to relax, is at the right place here. We especially enjoyed the personal service, the excellent food and the pleasant atmosphere of Zirbelholzzimmer. The board includes breakfast and refined dinner, and an afternoon snack. Here we particularly enjoyed, that instead of buffets daily a small card with freshly prepared menu items, as well as a buffet with great pastries. Also is very much more flexible and more focused than elsewhere, which means you have not until 3:00 P.M. back at the hotel, then perhaps a 'parking' scratched buffet, as we have seen in other places.
The Town of St. Valentin with a small lake was very well kept and an ideal starting point for beautiful hikes in the area. Of course you should be aware, that you are in the mountains and there wasn't any entertainment paradise or expect. If you need, you could still go down to Merano. However, you feel like you are in the forest Queen and around it so much, that time much better on the balcony or on the sun terrace or in the evening with a drink at the bar enjoys. Also, you can relax in the sauna or relax by the pool or treat yourself to a massage.
Forest Queen is definitely worth a visit!
