Top location to a great price *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel is fantastic Pitti palace Al Ponte Vecchio and thus really only a few steps from the old town of Florence, where a on every step culture and history. The room are well insulated and the air conditioning noiseless. The breakfast on the roof is the view was amazing, the quality was in order. The cheese selection was something poor, but you can compare a breakfast in italy anyway not with the in Germany.
The price was really reasonable for a week, the private parking garage but with 200 expensive. Public parking garages are cheaper, but not guarded for. Our car was us the money was well worth it, and on the departure day was it at the car park exit for us ready. Otherwise, the owner has ranked it in the garage and we have used wisely it not also a week. You can do the most good to foot and by bus you comes also to your destination.
The ice-cream parlor at the next bridge, turn left out of the Ponte Vecchio, had for us the best ice cream. Palazzo Vecchio and the Palazzo Pitti has us something disappointed is absolutely worth seeing. The Uffizi gallery is a must, the views from the campanile just great.
A tip for teachers: with a lesson or out white Arbeitsbescheinignung with school stamp, etc. also a simple, but also on Italian translated as far as possible, get discounts in many museums in italy. Worth it to get on each case, we have used in Rome and Florence several times.
We will definitely return to Florence and stay the Pitti palace.
