Big minus for the service and friendliness *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe had a very nice weekend advents in this romantic and bustling student city Marburg. The hotel is in a perfect location for a weekend, right next to the elevator to the upper town. The superior room has its price, but with the situation to the inner courtyard it was very peaceful and also in terms of size perfectly adequate. Cleanliness and furnishings were nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, the service was not at all convincing, and corresponds in no way a four-star hotel. The front desk was with A, part two people for the size of this hotel on a weekend absolutely advents understaffed. For the check-out Sunday we had a waiting time of 15 minutes. The telephone was served on a regular basis in front of the waiting guests. We did not feel especially welcome, but rather, as if we were a burden. We had already on the day of arrival complained, that some things in our room did not work. Despite return memory the problems were rectified during the two days of our stay. We were very disappointed. Particularly worthy of mention is the restaurant. The breakfast buffet was good and was also regularly filled up. The staff are very service-oriented and discreet friendly. The request, a free table to meet up again, we were informed, we could go to the meeting room, there you have it. Furthermore, I have to say, that the conference is a conference area the atmosphere and not the setting for a comfortable breakfast. Very negative we found the lack of cleanliness in the restaurant during breakfast. The tables were not cleaned after each guest, but only newly set. It was just overlooked, that on the floor from the previous guests scrambled eggs and bread scraps installations.
