Needs refurbishment but especially the beach area
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AIt needs refurbishment - its not a 5 * hotel - the beach area and beds in particular need replacing. The pool area is very good and the animation staff are very good. Breakfast could be better - its a bit tired. Hotel staff very good and friendly - too friendly sometimes - coming off the beach at lunch time you are assaulted for your custom. The cleaning staff very good.
Location
Ideal location, near the beach and near shops and restaurants. Immediate surrounding is being upgraded - foot paths don't exist. The beach area is fantastic - long walks for an hour or two no problem. Early morning is best.
Everyone speaks at least 5 languages, probably more. Very helpful - don't really like complaints though. Facilities very good but they are not promoted enough. You don't know till the last few days that so many activities are on offer.
Gastronomy
Food is just ok. Bar service is good and the range of drinks very good. Tipping and prices are ok.
Sport & Entertainment
They don't advertise what is on offer at all. Never know there was access to internet. Only heard about the sports activities on the last few days.
Room
Rooms are a bit tired and need refurbishment. Some rooms are so far from reception its a very long treck. We moved because of this and also the room is very dark at this time of year. No noise or disturbing smells, replacement of sheets and towels are excellent.
Tips and recommendations
Its cold at night and early morning and going up to the mountains on excursions you need to have proper clothes. The beach is lovely and long
